It includes cross sipes to help improve wet weather braking, and adds chamfers to the sipes to help prevent abnormal wear under extreme conditions. Cross sipes on the front tyre cut through the water film for outstanding wet weather braking. Longitudinal sipe and a solid strip around the middle of the rear tyre enhance traction to help you quickly yet up to speed. The new Michelin Pilot Road 4 tyres feature 2CT, a dual compound technology with 100% silica compounds for optimum balance between wet grip and longevity. The harder center compounds are designed to help promote a long tyre life, while the softer shoulder 30% 30% 40% 40% compounds provide extra grip when cornering.
