The first step is to wipe the ceiling with a microfiber cloth, which works well to remove visible stain marks or spots on the ceiling. Fabric or upholstery cleaner is then applied throughout the headliner. The cleaner is allowed to set in for a while and a soft bristled brush is used to evenly comb the cleaner off the ceiling. This is done uniformly so that the ceiling looks renewed and no residue from the cleaner remains. This also removes excess wetness, if any. The process may be repeated a second time on certain areas with tough stains.
